We compare a selected set of UK formation providers, not the whole market. This page explains what we look at, where facts come from and how our commercial relationships affect what you see.
What we compare
- Headline formation price, including whether VAT is added
- Conditions attached to the price, such as a required account or subscription
- What is included: Companies House fee, documents, addresses, identity verification
- Ongoing and renewal costs where published
- Rewards and their qualifying conditions, shown separately from price
- Who the package suits and who it does not
Where facts come from
Prices and package details come from providers’ official websites and help pages. Legal requirements come from GOV.UK and Companies House. Each price shows the date we last checked it. Our reviews are desktop research; we say so rather than claiming hands-on testing.
How commission affects placement
