Tide company formation.
Your limited company, from £14.99.
Tide’s standalone formation route costs £14.99, including the Companies House incorporation fee, and comes with a business account on a £0 monthly plan. The NEW200 promotion is a separate, conditional reward for eligible new customers.
How Tide company formation works
- 1
Prepare your company name, registered office, directors, shareholders, people with significant control and SIC code. Check identity verification and shareholder eligibility with Tide before paying.
- 2
Follow our official Tide partner link. Check that NEW200 is attached to the application and read the current formation price and promotion terms before submitting.
- 3
Complete the formation and account application on Tide’s website. Company registration and account opening are subject to checks and approval; a referral code does not bypass these checks.
- 4
After approval, meet each reward condition you choose to pursue. Keep the offer confirmation and transaction records. Ask Tide about eligibility or payout queries rather than assuming an unsuccessful application qualifies.
A “Tide limited company” is an ordinary UK limited company registered through Tide. Companies House, not Tide, maintains the public register. Incorporation creates a separate legal entity, but does not remove your duties to keep records, file accounts and confirmation statements or deal with tax.
NEW200: cashback conditions at a glance
| Part of the offer | Amount | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Company formation | £14.99 | One-off · Companies House fee included. Separate from cashback eligibility. |
| Card spend reward | £75 | Spend £100 on your Tide card within 30 days, meeting Tide’s qualifying transaction rules. |
| Savings reward | £125 | Deposit at least £5,000 into a Tide Instant Saver within 7 days of opening it and keep it there for one month. |
These rewards are conditional, not an automatic reduction in the formation price. Meeting only one requirement does not earn the other reward. The formation payment is a cost; qualifying card spending is an expense; money deposited into savings remains tied up for the required period. Assess each separately when budgeting.
Eligible new customers only. Existing or previous Tide customers must check exclusions. Tide’s live terms control qualifying transactions, deadlines, payout timing and any restrictions. Do not spend money unnecessarily or commit savings you need simply to obtain a reward.
Is Tide right for your new limited company?
Tide may suit a founder who wants incorporation and a business account together. A low upfront formation fee is not enough to decide: check how you will receive payments, transfer money, deposit cash and manage bookkeeping. A £0 monthly account plan does not mean every transaction or optional service is free.
- Compare address services, privacy and renewal charges. Do not assume the entry offer includes a private registered office.
- Confirm that the application supports your directors, ownership structure, residency and proposed activity. Complex share rights or overseas arrangements may need a different route or professional advice.
- Read the account fee schedule for the transactions your business actually makes. Compare ongoing costs, not only a welcome reward.
- Keep company and personal money separate. Incorporation is not a substitute for an accounting system or tax advice.
- Check cancellation, refund and rejection terms before submitting. Neither a code nor a quoted processing time guarantees incorporation or account approval.
For an existing company, compare Tide’s account-only options separately. For a new company, compare direct Companies House registration and other formation providers against the same needs. Our Tide placement is paid and our comparison covers selected providers, not the whole market.
Tide company formation and referral questions
Is a Tide limited company different from another limited company?
No. Tide company formation registers a company with Companies House. The resulting company has the same legal status and director obligations as a company registered directly or through another agent. Tide is the application and banking route, not a separate type of company.
What is the Tide referral code?
Our Tide referral code is NEW200. Use the linked company formation offer and check that the code is applied before submitting. This is a paid partner promotion for eligible new customers; approval and Tide’s current terms apply.
Does opening a Tide account guarantee £200 cashback?
No. The maximum reward is £200, split into £75 for qualifying card spend and £125 for qualifying savings. Each part has its own requirements. Opening an account alone earns neither reward.
Can I use the offer for a company I already own?
The link on this site is a company formation route for creating a new limited company. Do not assume its terms apply to opening an account for an existing company. Check the relevant Tide application route and customer eligibility before applying.
Is company formation the same as registering for Corporation Tax?
No. Incorporation creates the company at Companies House. Tax registration, record keeping and later filings are separate responsibilities. Register for Corporation Tax within three months of starting business activity where required, and check VAT and PAYE obligations for your circumstances.

Offer summary and inclusions
- Start with NEW200. Follow our company formation link and check that the referral code is applied before you submit. Existing or previous Tide customers should check eligibility; the promotion is for new customers.
- Earn £75 through card spend. Spend £100 on your Tide card within 30 days, meeting Tide’s qualifying transaction rules.
- Earn a further £125 through savings. Deposit at least £5,000 into a Tide Instant Saver within 7 days of opening it and keep the money there for one month, subject to Tide’s offer rules.
Opening an account alone does not earn £200. Meeting only one condition earns only that part of the reward. Check Tide’s live terms for eligible transactions, deadlines, payout timing, exclusions and any changes before applying. Do not tie up savings you need just to chase a bonus.
What the £14.99 formation includes
- Companies House registration and identity verification
- Digital incorporation certificate, memorandum and articles, share certificates and company register
- Multi-director registration at no additional formation fee
- A business account on Tide’s free monthly plan and PAYE registration
Costs worth checking
The free account plan means no monthly account fee, not that all banking is free. Transfers, cash deposits, ATM use and other services may have fees. Optional accounting, address and company secretary services cost extra. Tide also advertises £1 formation with a paid Company Secretary subscription at £12.50 + VAT per month; that is not the standalone £14.99 offer shown here.
