EDITORIAL STANDARDSJordan Ellis
Managing editor
“Readers should always be able to see where a fact came from and who benefits when they click.”
Biography
Jordan sets the standards every page on Company Formation Offers must meet: official sources first, plain English, clearly labelled examples, dated facts and visible commercial disclosure. Jordan edits our running-a-company guidance and signs off the structure of every guide and review before publication.
Jordan has edited consumer finance and small-business content for many years, with a focus on making regulated and technical topics understandable without oversimplifying them. That experience informs our rule that legal requirements, provider promises and illustrative calculations are always labelled differently.
Jordan wrote our editorial policy and methodology and manages corrections: when a reader or provider reports an error, Jordan confirms the source, updates the page and records the change.
Jordan is also responsible for keeping affiliate relationships visible. Tide’s featured placement is disclosed wherever it appears, and commission never changes the facts we publish.
